Joan D. Gordon

Joan D. 78, passed away on June 29, 2023. She was born on October 24, 1944 the daughter of the late Paul Edward Sr. and Arlene Smith of Wooster, Ohio. Joan retired from United Disability Services after 24 years of dedicated and loving service. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, board games and playing cards with family and friends. She was well known for her tuna noodle casseroles, meat loaf and her famous potato candy to name a few. Joan loved her family and enjoyed her time with them visiting Black Water, WV. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor, delicious dinners, caring spirit and much love in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Paul Edward Jr., Richard Smith, Charles Smith, Catherine Smith, Donna Sinley and beloved grandson Alec Tyler Fuller.
Joan is survived by her children Fred (Billie Jo) Mace, Jacqueline (Frank) Mitchley, and Patti (Carl) Rutledge; grandchildren Jenifer Fuller, Amanda (J.D.) Josey, Taylor (Craig) Lemasters, and Nicole Mace; great-grandson Nicholas Mayo; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Per Joan's wishes cremation will take place.
