Joan M. " Molly" Alwine
Joan M. " Molly" Alwine, 77, passed away on January 19, 2008. She was born in Herman, PA to the late Henry and Dorothy ( Miller) Geibel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughter, Charlene and Darlene Alwine. Joan was a member of New Horizons Christian Church. Survived by seven sons, Tommy ( Helen), Terry ( Karen), Roger (Patty), Chester( Gerry), Alfred Jr. ( Sandra), Randy ( Michelle), Darryl(Cindy); one sister, Leona (Geibel) Davis; one brother, Donald (Sarah) Geibel; 32 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and one on the way; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends; and very special friend, Dale Reitler . The family has requested in lieu of flowers donation may be made in memory of Joan"Molly" to Al and Sandra Alwine at 1876 Carver St., Akron, Ohio 44305. Calling hours will be Wednesday , 6 to 9 p.m. at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305. Services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Bane officiating.
