Joan Mae Dennison, 77, entered eternal peace on June 7, 2009 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in Reynoldsville, WV. Joan retired from Firestone in 2001. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post #175, and was an active member of the Stow Sunshiners. Preceded in death by husband, Elbert Dennison. Joan is survived by her special friend, Rex Henry, Sr.; children, Denise Bramer of Stow; Rodney (Sue) Dennison of Cuyahoga Falls, Belinda Ewing of Akron, and Carol (Dennis) Kerr of Sherwood, AR; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Lester Elbon of Cypress Gardens, FL; and sisters, Georgia Baker of Reynoldsville, WV and Carole Harvey of CA. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date at the Acker Memorial Post #175.
