Joan Marie Wyatt

Joan Marie Wyatt, 68, of Barberton, passed away on June 20, 2024 at her home. She was born in Akron on February 15, 1956 to the late James and Ruth {Fellenbaum} Phillips.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband Mark and granddaughter Hannah Johnson.

Joan is survived by her sons Christopher (Patricia), Craig and Cory Johnson; grandchildren, including her caretakers Jacob (Angel) Johnson, Brooklyn Johnson, Tayden Johnson, Tori Johnson, Trevor Crim; great-grandson Kaidyn Copeland-Johnson; many others she held close to her heart.

Joan loved classic rock, flowers, cats Fatso and Ruth and dogs Van and Lloyd. She was a girly girl and loved the color pink, but had a feisty streak a mile long. She enjoyed the simple things in life, like having her nails done and an ice cold drink, especially RC cola. Above all, Joan fiercely loved her family.

All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Monday, June 24th from 6:00 p.m. until the memorial service that begins at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jamie Fryberger officiating.
