JoAnn LaFollette, on Tuesday afternoon, April 18, 2023, age 85, began life in her Heavenly home because of her faith in Christ Jesus. We are comforted knowing, "to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord". She battled Parkinson's and now rejoices pain free in Heaven.
JoAnn was born December 15, 1937 in West Virginia, along with her twin sister and best friend, Jean, to the late Earl and Monie Kelley.
She graduated from Springfield High School and married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Max LaFollette. She was a homemaker who took pride in her home and yard and loved being with her family.
JoAnn was active in serving the Lord thru music, teaching Sunday school and was a prayer warrior. She cherished her family greatly and held them up daily in prayer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max LaFollette and second husband, Mike Heffelfinger; she is also survived by her children, Steve (Tina) LaFollette, Melissa (Dave) James and Becky (Mike) Cairns. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; her twin sister, Jean Crook and brother, Larry Kelley.
Her family would like to thank the Inn at Whitewood, for their kindness, as well as, the staff from Crossroads Hospice of Green.
