JoAnn McClaskey
JoAnn McClaskey, 58, of Akron, passed away November 23, 2011. JoAnn was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 29, 1952. JoAnn graduated from Fairview High School in Dayton and earned her degree from Grace College. She was an executive secretary at Wayne Homes. In her free time, JoAnn volunteered for numerous charitable organizations. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elva Marie Hinch and daughter-in-law, Jennifer McClaskey. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 16 years, Terry McClaskey Sr.; father, Richard "Dick" Hinch; stepchildren, Laurie (Mark) Kyser, Terry McClaskey Jr., Dave McClaskey, John McClaskey (Penny), and Amy (Billy) Sutherland; sixteen grandchildren; many dear friends; and beloved dogs, Chesney, Tony, and Ziva. Family and friends may call on Monday November 28 from 6-8 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Steve Bucy officiating. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
