Joann Arnold Mcgee

Joann Arnold McGee, 88, of Akron, passed away on April 19, 2018.
She was born in Pomeroy, Ohio on January 16, 1930. Joann was a 30 year cancer survivor. She was devoted to her family and friends and loved to keep in touch through Facebook. In her free time, she also enjoyed trips to the Rocksino and rooting for the Cleveland Indians. She loved her Pomeranian, Cassie and they are now together again.
Joann was preceded in death by her husband, James McGee and mother, Helen Cline. She will be dearly missed by her children, Robert Arnold and wife Chom, Debbie Neville and husband Don, Roger McGee, Ed McGee, Rick McGee, and David McGee; special cousin, Jean Davis; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 10-12 followed by a 12 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment will follow at Tallmadge Cemetery.
