JoAnn Stewart
JoAnn Stewart, 73, of Green, passed away February 8, 2008 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born March 10, 1934 in Oak Hill, OH to the late Earl B. & Cova (Wilson) Miller. JoAnn was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a life long resident of the Akron area and worked for the Green School System in the Culinary Arts Department for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Richard. She is survived by her sons, Gary (DeChantal) of Troy OH, Craig (Susan) of Clinton OH, and Richard (fiancée Becky) of Akron OH; and her grandchildren. Friends and relatives may call Sunday from 5 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Greensburg Cemetery on Thursby Rd. in Green.
