Joann Ethel Trayers

JoAnn Ethel Trayers, age 88 of Stow, Ohio, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
She was born on January 10, 1933 in McKeesport, PA, the daughter of the late Raymond and Susie (nee Borton) Denney.
Other than her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Buck" Trayers on June 18, 1991, they were united in marriage in 1954.
JoAnn was a member of the Riverwood Community Chapel in Kent, Ohio and volunteered for many years at the Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors. JoAnn was an accomplished artist and sang professionally.
Survivors include her children, Scott Trayers and Kelly (Skip) Henninger, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life/Open House on December 9, 2021 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at her home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
