Joanne Skibiski, 70, passed away April 19, 2020.
Born in Akron, Joanne lived in Tallmadge for most of her life.
She loved her pets: Sunny, a Cockatiel and her dog, Andy. She spent many hours working in her yard and gardening. She had a great sense of humor and was a Beautiful humble person.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Bernadette Rolland and Sandra Flanagan.
She is survived by her sister Delores (Ralph) Myers and brother George "Butch" Skibiski. She also has many nieces and nephews, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any pet rescue or animal shelter of your choice as she was a beloved friend to any and all animals. She frequently cared for the stray animals in her neighborhood.
Visitation and services for Joanne will be private due to the current environment surrounding the coronavirus. Please continue to support Joanne's family during this difficult time by keeping her family in your thoughts and prayers.
