Job W.L. McDonald

Job W.L. McDonald Sr., age 75, of Akron was called home to be with the Lord on February 20, 2025. He was born in Toledo on June 29, 1949, to the late William and Mary McDonald. Job was a commercial artist for 50 years. He is a devoted member of Grace Community Fellowship. Job shared his ongoing spiritual journey with everyone. His door was always open to those in need. Job enjoyed golf in his spare time. 

Job leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 54 years Angela McDonald; his children Terrence McDonald, Crystal Howard, Desmond McDonald, Job McDonald Jr., Demeatris McDonald, and Kelly McDonald; 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and brothers Clyde McDonald, and Robert McDonald. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Naomi, brother Daniel, and 3 grandchildren. 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12-2 prior to the service on Sunday, March 9th.
