Our sweet Jodi passed away peacefully June 1st, 2024 and was joyfully welcomed into the arms of Jesus and a host of family and friends waiting to greet her. Born July 31st 1976 Jodi lived in the Akron area her entire life. She graduated from North High School in 1997. After graduation she started working for UDS where she has been for the past 25 years! In 1998 she also got to go on her favorite vacation… to Walt Disney World! Jodi’s joy came from watching Disney, Nickelodeon, and Pixar movies as well as reading those books, hanging out with family, doing word searches, going to celebrate special occasions, and her most favorite- talking on the phone with her best friend Linda. Jodi never met a stranger, when she walked into a room she would want to know your first, middle, and last name, so she could spell it for you in sign language and teach you how to do it with her. Then would count up the letters to tell you how many letters you had in your whole name. Jodi also loved to collect monkeys. Jodi is the beloved daughter of Kathy, an incredible granddaughter to Norma and Jerry Saunders, the most amazing sister to Billie (Adam) Louk and Dana (Jim) Moore, The greatest Aunt to Paige (Miles), Brittany, Kyle (Courtney), Payten(Aubrey), and McKenna. The best Great Aunt to Charlee and Wesley! Jodi is survived by an abundance of aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves behind her forever prince Mike Benson, special friend Zach Hill, best friend Linda Jo Figley and a host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kathy House, Jodi’s mom. Please wear green or yellow if able in memory of Jodi’s favorite colors or your favorite Disney, Nickelodeon, or character shirt in her honor.
