Joe Wolfe

Joe Carson Wolfe, 64, went to be with our Lord on August 12, 2005 while under Crossroads Hospice Care at Twin Pines Retreat in Stow. Joe was born in Morristown, Tennessee on April 19, 1941 and resided most of his life in Akron. He was a retired roofer and a member of Local 88. He was a member of Akron Baptist Temple for more than 40 years. Preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Mattie Wells Wolfe. He is survived by Darlene Wolfe of Roseburg, Oregon; devoted sister Marianne Brinkley (Larry) of Cuyahoga Falls; and sisters Mildred Hurdt (Jim) of South Bend, Indiana; Katie Bisko (William) of Battle Creek, Michigan; nieces and nephews Bob Brinkley (Kim), Bobby and Justin Brinkley, Jimmy Hurdt (Sharon), Elyssa and Brandon,and Marianne "Shu-Shu" Hurdt; Aunt Gladys Wolfe; and cousin Bob Wolfe. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at the Akron Baptist Temple, 2324 Manchester Road, from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m.
