John L. Arvai

John L. "Jack" Arvai, 80, of Akron, passed away on May 15, 2024. He was born on August 10, 1943 to the late Steve and Julia {Levay} Arvai.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother Steve Arvai, sister Marian Danker and brother-in-law Butch (Linda) Oznowich.

On September 14, 1963 he married Mary Ann {Oznowich} Arvai, and they spent 60 wonderful years together. She survives, along with their children John (Shannon) Arvai Jr., Lisa (Gary) Rospert and Amy (Dennis) Rospert; grandchildren John Arvai III, Cory (Renee) Rospert, Kyle (Jacqueline) Rospert, Lucas (Shelby) Rospert, Tyler (Brandi) Rospert, Connor Rospert and Danielle (Roberto) Capotosta; great-grandchildren Enzo, Parker, Mason and Hayeslee.

Jack retired from Ford Motor Company after over 40 years of service. Outside of work hours, he could often be found on the golf course with family and friends, or sprucing up his house and lawn. In his younger years, he loved taking his boat out with his kids and close friends. Some of his favorite memories were made with family trips to the ocean, especially Topsail, NC.
