John Burton Moran
John Burton Moran, 70, of Kent, went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2008. John was born December 26, 1937 in Preston County, West Virginia to the late Joseph and Leora Moran. John retired from Ford Walton Hills after 33 years of service and was a longtime member of Victory Baptist Temple. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Billy. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; daughters, Brenda Wilson of Lakeland, FL and Debbie (Charles) Doyle of Stow; son, John Michael (Diane) Moran of Kent; grandchildren, Brandy Weaver, Jamie Taylor, Shane Wilson, Charlie Doyle, Justin Moran, and Emily Moran, and nine great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Victory Baptist Temple, 4167 State Rte 43, Brimfield, Pastor Chuck Wetzel officiating. Interment at Grandview Memorial Park.
