John Robert Behon, 56, of Ravenna, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020, when Jesus came to meet him for their glorious fishing trip in HEAVEN. John was born to parents John Jr. and Dorothy (nee Foust) Behon on May 6, 1963 in Somerset, Pennsylvania.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents, and his father-in-law, Clinton Bibey.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Elizabeth (nee Bibey) to whom he married on December 28, 2008; daughter, Amanda (Phillip) Foster; grandchildren, Rylee, Sydney and Ethan; stepson, Nicholas Mathews; parents, John and Dorothy (nee Foust) Behon; sister, Michelle (Rick) Schroeder and nieces, Erica (Matt) Davis and great-nephew Rhett and niece Deanna; brother, Brian (Susan) Behon and nieces Megan and Madison; mother-in-law, Emily (nee Moore) Bibey; sister-in-law, Babette (Noah) St. John and two nieces Amber and Bambi (Greg), and nephew Cody; brother-in-law, Clinton (Valerie) Bibey and niece Victoria; along with many other family members and dear friends.

John was a proud and honorable Navy veteran having served our country for 6 years. He was a nature lover, avid fisherman, trapper, hunter, and loved attending Maplewood Christian Church. John loved family gatherings, playing with his grandchildren and singing around the campfire with his in-laws. He was a very devoted son, father and husband and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Maplewood Christian Church, 7300 State Route 88, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
