John C. Penix



John C. Penix, 57, passed away on September 6, 2007. John had served with the US Army and was a member of Teamsters Local 24. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his precious grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father William and brother Glenn. Survivors include his loving wife Carolyn , of 38 1/2 years; mother Vadie Penix; daughter Beverly Penix; sons John Paul and Gene A. Penix; grandchildren Sabrina and Kristin Epley, Sarah Echo Penix; and Tonya, William and Christopher Fisher; brother William R. (Linda), Russell T. and Stewart Neil (Lynn) Penix; and numerous other relatives and friends. Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305, where funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. Interment at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Robinson VNA and Hospice, 6847 N.
