John Denes



John Denes, 71, passed away on October 18, 2007, at Akron City Hospital after a short illness. He was born on April 1, 1936, in Budapest, Hungary, to the late Kalman and Irma Denes. John worked for 14 years for Firestone Tire and Rubber and for over 20 years at Kent State University. He will always be remembered for his strong work ethic and love of nature. He is survived by his daughters Kristine (Stephen) Biggers and Diane (Christopher Waite) Denes; and grandchildren Brittany Brumbelow, and Elise and Nathaniel Biggers. A special thanks is extended to the staff at Akron City Hospital in the emergency department, intensive care, 6-East, acute palliative care, and Hospice of Summa. Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
