John Clifford Fridley Ii

John Clifford Fridley II, age 55, passed away on February 5, 2022, he was born on August 18, 1966.
John was a life-long resident of Portage Lakes, the place he loved to call home. We all know the saying "to know him is to love him" and that couldn't be truer than it was with John. The only thing bigger than his fun-loving personality was his huge heart. John had a great love for coaching and dedicated many years to Coventry sports programs, investing in the youth of his community.
John spent 15 years working for Downing Enterprises, where he had many friends.
However, of all the titles he could be assigned, the title of DAD was his most treasured. John's infectious laugh and caring nature will be missed by all who knew him.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John Clifford and Marilyn Lou (nee Jacobs) Fridley I, and many loved ones whom he dearly missed.
John's legacy will live on through his sons: John Curtis, Colton Wayne and Colin Jacob Fridley. He is also survived by his sisters, Annette (David) Sigler and Donette (Dale) Hardison.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM at Cornerstone Church, 2445 South Arlington Road, Akron OH 44319 on Friday, February 11, 2022, where family and friends may visit from 4:30 PM until the time of the service.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
