John H. "Jack" Hoffman, Sr.
John H. "Jack" Hoffman, Sr., passed away on December 28, 2006. He was born in Massillon on November 5, 1919 to the late Clarence and Blanche Hoffman. Jack served in WWII with the US Army and retired from the Akron Police Department in 1975. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret; son Jeff; granddaughter Candice; sister Isabel Pritt; and brother Lawrence. Survivors include sons John H. "Jack" Hoffman, Jr. (Nancy) and Craig Hoffman; 7 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Friday, 1 p.m. at the chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
