John W. Headley, Jr.
John W. Headley, Jr., 72, passed away October 14, 2004. John was born in Akron and lived in the area his entire life. He graduated from Garfield High School and later went on to serve in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid sports fan and rooted for all of Cleveland's teams. Above all, John loved the Lord and his family. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Gladys; daughters, Loree McKiernan and Lisa (Rick) Eddleman; son, Matthew Headley; grandchildren, Amanda McKiernan and David L. McKiernan III; sister, Juanita (Paul) Reeder; brother, Jerry Headley. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with Captain Demetrius Stanford officiating. Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
