John J. Bradach

John J. "Buck" Bradach, was born February 14, 1941 to John F. and Anna Bradach. He was led on his journey to heaven by his parents and niece on January 25, 2013 while he was surrounded by his loving family.
John was a 1959 graduate of Akron's South High. After high school he was very proud to serve in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. John retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber after 35 years of service in 1998 as a tire builder. He enjoyed and was actively involved in his grandchildren's sports from grade school through high school. For John, family came first from his summer holiday cookouts to helping organize and plan family reunions. He also enjoyed woodworking, golfing and gardening. In his younger days, he loved spending time with his son going rabbit and pheasant hunting.
Preceded in death by his parents, John F. and Anna Bradach and niece Melissa Ann DeMoss.
John is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Barbara; sister, Janet Miller of Cuyahoga Falls; brother-in-law, David Moore of Akron; daughter, Kim (Roy) Haverkamp of Brimfield; son, John (Mindy) Bradach of Akron; grandchildren, Holly and Brian Haverkamp, Kim and Sam Lynn, Emily and Joey Bradach; nephews, Dennis DeMoss, Scott Christoff; nieces, Tammy Christoff, Mindy Kramer; great nephew, Michael DeMoss; along with many wonderful family and friends.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, January 31, from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Victory Parish 73 North Ave. Tallmadge 44278 on Saturday, February 2 at 10:30 a.m. with Father John Hengle presiding.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The American Heart Association.
