John J. Weyrick

John (Jake) J. Weyrick Sr., 76, of Akron, went home to be with his Lord on June 26, 2012. He was born in Suffield, OH on April 3, 1936 to the late Raymond and Anna Weyrick.
John loved his church, traveling, riding his motorcycle, working on stock cars, woodworking and hunting, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
John is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sally; sons, Joe (Jeanette), Troy (Sandy); daughter, Pam; grandchildren, Angie, Joshua, Jacob, Dominick, Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Anna Rose, Israel Joseph and Lael Aelen. The family would like to thank Aseracare Hospice, the staff at Altercare Hartville and especially Christina and Karen, for the loving care of John.
Family and friends may call on Saturday July 7, at 10-12 at Millheim Baptist Church, 2661 Hayne Rd., Akron, OH, where funeral services will follow at 12 with Pastor Kim Lawrence officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Millheim Baptist Church.
