John K. Griggs, 85, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013. He was born on August 6, 1928 in Union Grove, AL to the late James and Beulah Griggs. He loved to garden and will always be remembered as a relentless flirt. John retired from Goodyear Aerospace after over 30 years of service.
He is survived by daughter Becky S. Griggs, son Dennis K. Griggs, grandchildren; Jamie L. Griggs and Richard K. Griggs, many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Kenneth W. Griggs, daughter-in-law Deborah K. Griggs, and siblings. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron.
