John K. Murray, Jr. "Jack"
Jack Murray, 78, of Akron, passed away in his sleep on Monday, April 22, 2013. He was born November 7, 1934. Jack worked at Coventry Schools for 27 years and later worked security at Summit Mall. He was a member of Lakeview Church of Christ. Jack loved bluegrass music and was always seen wearing his cowboy hat. He didn't know a stranger.
Jack is survived by his daughters, Debi (Randy), Janet (Tom), Sandy (Steve), Barbara, Teri (Roger), Diane (Scott); son, John III; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and the Powell families. Family and friends may call on Sunday, April 28 from 2-5 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jack's family.
