John A. Koons, 72, of Hartville, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020. He was born in Akron, OH on May 22, 1947 to parents Paul and Ruby Koons.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
Left to cherish John's memory is his loving wife, Alice, of 46 years; children, Michael Koons, Traci Riggins and Steven Koons; grandchildren, Avery, Tyler, Isaiah, Gabriella, and Paul; great-grandson, Xavier; godson, Malik; siblings, Barbara, Judy, James, Irene, and Joseph.
John proudly served in the US Army as a Vietnam medical corpsman. He really enjoyed working at ACME/Click, retiring after 47 years of having "too much to do." John had a love for fishing, gardening, watching old western movies, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A private celebration of John's life will be held by the family.
