John M. Casselberry

John M. Casselberry passed away on November 10, 2009. He was born on February 11, 1969. John went to Waterloo High School and later graduated from the W. Howard Nicol School of Nursing in 1995. John was living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and was working as an MDS Coordinator. John had been sick for the past 12 years and finally succumbed to his illness. He fought a very courageous fight. John was preceded in death by his mother, Janet; grandparents, Clyde Casselberry, Betty (Charles) Nixon, and Amelia Beagle; and his brother, William, Jr. He leaves behind his father, William; stepmother, Edith; brother, Robert (Penny); stepbrothers, Lewis (Lisa), Phillip (Sherry), and Rod (Kay); half-brother, Nelson; half-sister, Renee; stepsisters, Yvonne and Pam (Rick); also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Thursday, 6 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Human Rights Campaign, 1640 Rhode Island Ave. NW, Washington, DC, 20036 or the American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406.
