John E. McCroskey
John E. McCroskey, 80, of Akron passed away June 11, 2005. He was born July 9, 1924 in Ripley, West Virginia to the late John G. & Dora M. (Thornton) McCroskey. John was preceded in death by his son, Chris. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Cynthia (Ferner) McCroskey; daughters, Sharon (Delbert) French, Diana (Matt) Zeiser; sons, John (Cheree) McCroskey, William (Christie) McCroskey; grandchildren, Tracy, Melinda, Amy, Shawn, Shane, Cindy, Jason, Brandy, William, John Jr., Charles Wade, Chris Jr.; great-grandchildren, Brandi, Heather, Ryan, Jamie, Kadie, Jessie, Jamie, Scott, Joshua, James, Sydney, Journey, Ronnie, Ian, Nicole Renee. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. The family would like give a special thanks to Hospice for the excellent care given to John.
