John A. Mcdaniels

John A. McDaniels, 77, departed on April 12, 2018. He was a longtime Akron-area resident who spent his recent years traveling back and forth to Okeechobee, FL. John was an avid golfer where he could typically be found enjoying time with friends and family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna; daughter, Cheryl; brothers, Jimmie and Chuck; sister, Ida; and grandsons, John and Brandon. John is survived by his companion, Sue Sakuta; sons, John (Terri) and Bryan (Christine); grandchildren, Angela (Adam), Jimmy (Amber), Melanie (Steve); brother, Kenny; sister, Shirley; and many nieces and nephews. Per his wish cremation has taken place.

A memorial followed by a celebration of life will take place for friends and family at J. Dublin's Pour House, 1954 Buchholzer Blvd., Akron, OH 44310 on Sunday, April 15 from Noon to 3pm. Please dress casually and bring your fondest memories to share.
