John Thomas McKinney, age 66, of Stow passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020. He was born on December 8, 1953, the son of Albert B and Margaret {Matis} McKinney.
John married the love of his life, Mary on September 15, 1990. Also left to carry on John's legacy is their son, Galen; siblings Barbara (Aran) Kongmuang, Charles (Deborah) McKinney, Patricia (Robert) Brace, and Robert (Darlene) McKinney; sister-in-law Joanne (Doug) Miller; nieces and nephews Steven (Holly), Karen (Jaeden), Dennis, David (Gina), Kayla (Brendan), Matthew, and Katelyn.
John worked at All Ohio Threaded Rod for over 30 years, and was a hard working, dedicated employee. He loved riding motorcycles and spending time outdoors. John loved spending time with his family, especially Galen and his nieces and nephews. He was a problem solver, and could tackle any issue, mechanical or emotional. John was a quiet, but warm ray of sunshine, and could put a smile on anyone's face.
Per John's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will take place at First Christian Church of Stow, 3493 Darrow Rd. Stow, OH 44224 on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
