John R. Miller, Sr.

John R. Miller, Sr., 74, passed away July 12, 2021 with his family by his side. Born in Akron, Ohio to Harvey Miller and Dorothy Wilfong, he was a lifelong resident of the Akron and Canton areas. John previously worked as an appliance repairman and at PPG Industries. He greatly enjoyed animals, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a fun person to be around and kind to everyone that knew him.
He will be sadly missed by his children, John "Rusty" Miller, Jr. (Deeann), Dottie Carper (Mike), Elizabeth Miller, Jennilee Wise & family, Howard, Thomas, and Eric Miller & family; grandchildren, Malachi (Jordan), Michaela (Alex), Dan, Erin, and Autumn; brother, James Miller; former wife, Shirley Miller; nieces, nephews and friends.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
