John C. Miskar Jr., 65, of Mogadore, passed away on May 4, 2024. John was born on August 9, 1958 the son of John and Penny Miskar Sr.
John graduated from Garfield High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army while stationed in Germany. John was employed over 30 years of dedicated service with Sam Winer Motor Co. He enjoyed music especially going to concerts with family and friends. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his passion for music, the love in his heart, and his love for his family especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded by his father John C. Miskar Sr.
John is survived by his childhood sweetheart, best friend and love of his life of almost 46 years, Lori Miskar; loving daughter Nicole (Justin) Bills; grandchildren Alyssa Bills and Logan Bills; beloved mother Penny Miskar; siblings Frank Miskar, Dave Miskar, and Sue Hayes; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held with a visitation on May 9th, Thursday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron).
