John R. Skeen

John R. "Bud" Skeen, 84, passed away on November 2, 2007. He was a veteran of WWII, having served with the US Army and a member of the Mogadore Lions Club, Alumni Association, and Historical Society. Bud was an avid sports fan and supporter of Mogadore Athletics. Preceded in death by his wife Adeline and several brothers and sisters. survivors include daughter Lori Neidert; sister Evelyn (Jack) McClure; granddaughter Bridget Neidert; and great-granddaughter Selena Hutchens. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Wednesday , 1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mogadore Athletic Boosters.
