John Raymond Castilow
John Raymond Castilow, 54, of Suffield, passed away on June 13, 2011. John was born in Akron on June 17, 1956 to the late Mahlon and Hilda Castilow. He will always be remembered as a hard worker and for his ability to make people laugh. John was a member of St. Joseph Church Randolph and enjoyed spending time outdoors and riding motorcycles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Horning and brother-in-law, James Ickes. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Maria Castilow and her mother, Annette Hersman; siblings, Marilyn (Frank) Snyder, Kathleen Ickes, and James (Sandy) Castilow; and numerous nieces and nephews. John's family wishes to thank the staff at Hudson Elms and Crossroads Hospice for all their care. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 24th at 2:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church Randolph, 2643 Waterloo Rd., followed by a luncheon at the Knights of Columbus Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Church to support the grotto.
