John A. Regenos

John Alan Regenos, 74, passed away May 11, 2024. He was born on July 19, 1949 in Warsaw, Indiana. His family moved to Ohio in 1961, He graduated from Springfield High School in Akron, Ohio. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy, traveling throughout the Mediterranean.

One of his greatest pleasures was roller skating competitively. His coach and cherished friend for many years was the late Penney Dusastanti.

He retired from Jo-Ann Fabrics Corporate offices in Hudson, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lyle and Charlotte Regenos and niece-in-law Jill Beha Regenos. He is survived by his brother Terry (Louise) Regenos; nephew Brian Regenos; niece, Kara Regenos; as well as his good friend Lee Zufall. He will always be remembered by his family and friends for his sense of humor.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd.
