John S. Farra, Jr., 90, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2009. John was a veteran of WWII, having served with the US Army. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. after 36 years of service. John was a faithful servant who loved his Lord. He attended Springfield Assembly of God. John enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. He is survived by his beloved wife Betty of 54 years; daughter Deborah; and dear friends Jack and Wanda Welch. Private services at the convenience of the family.
