John Kevin Scullion "Scully", 59, of Akron, passed away suddenly on December 22, 2022. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on April 6, 1963. His family moved to Ohio when he was a child and John grew up in Brunswick, graduating from Brunswick High School in 1981. Most of his career was spent in tree maintenance and service. He was the owner of Tomahawk Tree Service for thirty years.
Scully was a true outdoorsman. In his free time, he loved to trap, hunt, and fish. He also trained and raced horses for many years. He was a simple man who worked hard and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
Scully was preceded in death by his father, Howard Scullion.
He is survived by his loving girlfriend, Laurie Martin; mother, Arlene Willits; twin brother, Jeff Scullion; sisters, Judith Scullion and Jacki Feckley; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Per Scully's wishes, there will be no services. His family will celebrate his life privately.
