John A. Syroid

John A. "Johnny" Syroid, age 39, of Barnesville, Ohio, died on Sunday, March 21, 2021. He was born on March 5, 1982 in Akron, Ohio, the son of the late John M. and Donna {Robinson} Syroid.

Johnny enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, tailgating at sporting events and spending time with his children.

Survivors include his children, John Mason, Austin, and Lacy Syroid; siblings Ryan (Julia) Syroid and Jenna (Matthew) Lysiak and grandmother Dorothy Robinson; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.

Other than his mother and father, Johnny was preceded in death by his grandmother Maureen {Hunt} DeMali and grandfathers Donald E. Robinson and John S. Syroid.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, 44305 on Sunday, March 28, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Please plan to wear a mask and practice social distancing. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron.
