John W. Mancine

John W. Mancine "Willie", 77, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away April 11, 2012. He was born in Akron on September 30, 1934 to the late Anna Minnick.

Willie retired from Summit County as a heavy equipment operator and owned his own firewood business. He loved boxing, fishing, old TV shows, playing pool and cards with his friends, and most of all, spending time with his family.

Willie was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Ronald.

He is survived by his children, Paul (Simone), Patricia Mraz, Ann Marie (John) Sdono, John Jr.; grandchildren, Michael Key, Shannon (Dennis) Simmons, Jeffrey Mraz, Christopher and Elizabeth Chaney, Joseph Sdono, Joshua, Jeremy and Daniel Mancine; great-grandchildren, Aaron and Joshua Simmons.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, April 14 from 10-12 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will follow at 12 noon with Father David McCarthy officiating. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
