John J. Yakubik

John Yakubik (Papa John), 57 of Tallmadge, surrounded by his loving
family, passed away September 18, 2009. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son and grandfather and will be missed very much, but never forgotten. He was very patient, kind, and always willing to help anyone that needed it. He will be most remembered for his humble nature, generosity, tenacity, incredible memory, sense of humor and love of family and friends. He loved hard work, but also had a love for life. From working in the yard or playing with his grand kids to adding his mark as a special craftsman, his fingerprints are everywhere. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Nikki Yakubik; mother Alice Yakubik; daughters, Angela (John) Steger, Dawn (Michael) Eid, and Michelle (Jerry) Mosley; sister Carolyn (John) Kline; brother Adam Yakubik; grandchildren Austin, David, Kaylee, Haley, Cassidy, Jay, Caden, Cadence, and Adam; father-in-law Romie "Jr." Holcomb; many special nieces and nephews; and many special friends, including their treasured neighbors. John was preceded in death by his father John J. Yakubik, and his mother-in-law, Betty Holcomb. Calling hours will be Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.
