Johnnie Belle Geiger

Johnnie B. Geiger, age 90, of Akron, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2024 at Pebble Creek Nursing Home. She was born on September 2, 1934 to the late John and Mary Long in Sewanee, TN. 

She found love and married Donald E. Geiger and together they had three children. Don and Johnnie lived in the Akron area for most of their lives together before Don's passing in 2005. 

Johnnie is survived by her loving children, Michele Geiger, Karen Burt and Don Geiger; grandchildren, Jessica (Nate) Rice and Janese (Dan) Hornsby; and great-grandchildren, Lexi, Emma, Drake, Gage, Jaedan and Jordyn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don; and one brother, Billie C. Long

Per Johnnie's wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no formal services planned at this time.
