Johnny Ray Alestock, age 74 of Akron passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 18, 2022. He was born in Clarksburg, WV on April 20, 1948 to the late William and Sylvia {Hilkey} Alestock.
Johnny will always be loved by his wife Theresa; sister Judy (Lonny); sister-in-law Carolyn.
Johnny was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He served as an Akron and then Munroe Falls Police Officer for a combined 20 years, before spending over 30 years in the heating and cooling industry. Johnny finally retired from Akron Children's Hospital after 10 years of service.
Johnny and Theresa loved to go tag saling, garage saling and to flea markets. He was an ornery guy in the most lovable of ways, and will be dearly missed by those who love him.
Per Johnny's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal services.
