Jonathon Walter Heil, age 28 of Rootstown, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 as the result of a tragic accident.
Jonathon was born on January 26, 1993 to Dawn (Randolph) and Helmuth Heil in Barberton, Ohio. He spent most of his childhood being raised in Suffield, Ohio where he graduated from Field High School and Maplewood Career Center in 2011 and went on to study system networking at ITT Technical Institute.
In 2010 he met Amber Heil at Maplewood Career Center and they spent the next 11 years together. In those 11 years, they had three of the most beautiful children, Adelynn, age 7, Tyson, age 4, and a third surprise, their little girl Blayke, age 1. There is nothing Jonathon loved more than spending time with his kids and making them laugh. He loved doing anything outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and taking his kids on rides on the four wheeler. Jonathon enjoyed going bowling with his uncle John and his cousin Cooper. He also enjoyed watching football and sitting by a fire with friends. He will always be remembered for his sarcasm, sense of humor, and contagious smile.
Jonathon is also survived by his mother, Dawn Leidtke, sisters, Rosalyn (Jason Halman) Nickell, Patricia Boykin, Katrina (Dakota) Martinez, uncles, Alfred (Treva) Heil, Wolfgang (Theresea) Heil, John (Gina) Randolph, Mark (Judi) Randolph, aunt, Janice (Mike) Bailey, his nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his biggest role model, his grandpa, John Heil, grandparents, Mary and Roy Randolph, and father, Helmuth Heil.
Friends and family may come to call on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 12-2 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m.
