Jonathon Mitchell

Jonathon F. Mitchell, 45, passed away on August 15, 2018. He was born in Akron to the late David and Dellene Simmons. He was employed by Advance Poly Packaging. He was a wonderful father, grandpa, son and husband and loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Jonathon was preceded in death by his grandmother; brother, Rob; and aunt, Denise. He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Shannon; children, Joanna, Carla, Samantha, Chase, Angelina, Brentt and Justin; grandson, Braxton; mother in-law, Ruth; father in-law, Bruce; brothers, David and Doug (Desiree); and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Special thank you to his hospice nurse, Gloria, for her care and concern. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home. Family will receive friends on Sunday August 19, 2018 from 1-3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305.
