Jordan Nicole "Sissy" Dye

Jordan Nicole Dye, 27, of Ravenna, passed away on May 19, 2024 at Akron Children's Hospital. She was born on December 13, 1996 to Shaun Dye and April (Verrick) Chamberlain.

Jordan was preceded in death by her grandfathers Thomas Dye and John Morrison; step-grandfather Terry Collins.

Jordan is survived by her loving parents Shaun and April (Verrick); sister Brittney Dye; brother Robert Morrison; nephew Garret Davis; grandmothers Bonita Dye and Marilyn Collins; aunts Tracy Dye and Michelle Swartz; many extended family members and friends.

Jordan was...just a happy girl. The things that made her smile most often were animals, her family, and babies- especially if she got to hold them. Jordan never knew a stranger. If she saw you, she expected a high five, and you felt special. She loved music, pop-its, and making people laugh. Her genuine smiles stretched from her heart to both ears. Jordan had a way of lighting you up from the inside, and she will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who love her.

All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Tuesday, May 28th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., and again on Wednesday, May 29th from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service which begins at 11:00 a.m. Following services, Jordan will be cremated.
