Joseph C. Delauter

Joseph C. DeLauter, 53, passed away on July 19, 2010, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He had been a resident of Akron for the past 10 years and had previously resided in Valley Steam, NY. Joseph was a member of Emmanuel Fellowship Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Frances DeLauter. Survivors include his long-time friend and companion, Jim Traverse; sister, Linda Jacob; nephews, Keith and Joseph Jacob; uncle, Donald (Jane) Dubiel; and special friend, Sandy Steele. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 3-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N.
