Joseph C. Fast, of Akron, passed away June 18, 2013. He was born in Akron on April 22, 1960 to the late Ray and Ilene Thompson. Joe was the best husband and father in the world.
Joe is survived by his wife Kathy Jo Fast; daughters, Heather (Michael) Akins, Danielle (Keith) Stokes, Heidi and Holly Carmichael; grandchildren, Jacob, Adam, Austin, Paige, Braylon, Anthony, Ethan , Jason, Tyrone, Aiden and Madison; sister, Debbie (Gary) McDowell; nephews, Gary Jr. and Lukey; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Sally Conner; special friends, Craig and Howard.
He was preceded in death by son, Tyrone Paul Grady-Fast; brother, Ronald.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, June 22, from 3-5 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will follow the calling hours at 5 p.m. with Rev. Dwayne Ray officiating.
