Joseph D. Edwards, age 75, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013. He was born on July 21, 1937 in Akron, OH to James and Minnie Edwards. He retired from the US Postal Service after 40 years and enjoyed woodworking and treasure hunting at yard sales and flea markets.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Darlene Morgan; children, Maureen, Rick, Joe, Annette, Nathan, Wade and Carol; sister, Nancy (Chuck) Rine; step-children, Katie and Rusty; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305.
