Joseph Jupin, 88, went home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2010. Joe was born in Smithfield, Pennsylvania on December 14, 1921. He was in the Navy during WWII. Joe retired from B. F. Goodrich in 1984 and then volunteered at Akron City Hospital for 12 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, of 65 years; son, Jim (Linda) Jupin; daughter, Sue Callihan; grandkids, Rachel, Adam, Matthew, and Jonathan; great-grandboy, Declan. Calling hours will be Friday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at Hillwood Chapel, 4824 S. Arlington Rd. Uniontown.
