JOSEPH T. KASICKI
Joseph T. Kasicki, 75, of Akron, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 8, 2001, after a brief illness. Joseph was a resident of Akron for 25 years. He was born December 8, 1925 in Cleveland to Karl and Katherine Kasicki. He was a retired maintenance worker for Ferro Co. in Bedford. Joseph was a World War II Navy veteran and a 20 year veteran of Civil War Reenactments. Preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers, Joseph is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cloanne; children, Robert (Linda); of FL, Deborah (Bill); of FL, Katherine (John); of Akron, Elizabeth (Michael); of Akron, Carl (Gail); of Akron, and Thomas (Maria); of FL, 22 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother Ed (Celia); and friend of Cynthia. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, July 11th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Mr. Charles DeWitt officiating. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
